Advanced Family Eye Care

Transforming spaces is about more than just aesthetics—it's about crafting environments that serve their purpose with beauty and function. For this remodel of an old dental office in a vibrant, up-and-coming area of Cedar Falls, we collaborated with Advanced Family Eye Care to design an interior that seamlessly transitioned into an optometry clinic while retaining the building's best features.

The existing structure had great bones, including tall ceilings, generous windows, well-crafted doors and trim, and a layout that lent itself well to the new use. Together with the owner and contractor, we embraced these elements while introducing a refined design scheme. A neutral palette, accented with vibrant pops of blue inspired by the clinic’s logo, set the tone for a space that's both modern and welcoming.

Durability and functionality were key. We selected vinyl plank flooring that can withstand heavy traffic and added a commercial-grade carpet to the frame room—balancing a lighter, bright color with patterns to mask dirt while ensuring stain resistance and easy replacement.

At the heart of the design is the reception desk—a true statement piece. The quartz front, crafted from a single solid slab, showcases breathtaking veining with blue undertones that echo the brand's identity. It's an eye-catching feature that sets the tone for the clinic from the moment patients walk through the door.

This design blends organic warmth with modern elegance, creating a comfortable, inviting environment for patients. We're thrilled to have been a part of Advanced Family Eye Care's journey to reimagine this space and look forward to seeing the positive impact it has on their patients and the community.
